Mark successfully ran operations overseeing hundreds of people while reducing costs and improving performance.
Retiring early from the corporate world to pursue an entrepreneurial path was a long-awaited goal. Mark is now involved with several start-up businesses, developing mineral reserves, and consulting with domestic and international companies.
Mark is the third generation in Sullivan County TN, following his grandparents’ move from Scott County, VA. His grandmother was involved with real estate and established a family farm here, on which Mark and his wife still reside. His father became a world-renowned fiddle player. Mark is past Chairman of the Sullivan County Planning Commission. Mark holds an MBA from East Tennessee State University, a BS Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, and has studied at the University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University.
