Mr. Sproles is a regional partner with TCI Group – Jerry Petzoldt Agency at our Kingsport office. He has extensive commercial real estate experience including buy, sell, lease and trade transactions as well as site selection, master planning, and projects management. Mr. Sproles is licensed to practice commercial real estate in Tennessee and can serve in areas of expertise including:

He is available to build value for clients using his extensive experience of 40 years in real estate, engineering, construction, and strategic planning.

Mr. Sproles held various management positions at Eastman Chemical Company, retiring in 2004 as its director of global real estate services. His responsibilities included assignments in 28 countries that resulted in real estate transactions. Leading this effort required a global network of economic development agencies, accounting, legal, banking, and real estate firms and this network is available to aid investors locally.

In 2005 Mr. Sproles served the region as the interim director of NETWORKS, Sullivan Partnership. NETWORKS provide integrated economic development services for Sullivan County. Work during the startup year included integrating the three competing organizations into one, establishing an office near Tri-Cities Airport, branding the organization, creating its strategic plan, and establishing Partnership Business Park One. This supply side work in economic development locally was complimented by his demand side experience as Eastman’s corporate representative to economic agencies worldwide. These skills can enhance investors’ strategic thinking, projects management, and subsequent real estate transactions.

Mr. Sproles is a Kingsport native and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He holds a BS degree in civil engineering and a MS degree in engineering management.

He is a registered professional engineer and has led several technical and professional organizations on a local, regional, and state level.
